Min Kang is currently working as an industrial designer at Design Continuum in Boston. He finished his Master of Industrial Design at Pratt Institute, New York. He received BFA in Industrial Design from Kyung-Hee University, South Korea. Prior to moving to the United States, Min worked an industrial designer and researcher at Hyundai Heavy Industries, the world's largest shipbuilder and Fursys, the leading manufacturer of system office furniture in Korea. He has also joined design projects as a freelance designer for companies including Motorola, LG Electronics, and Pepsi.
He received major design awards including 2 IDEA, 2 Red-Dot, iDA and 2 Korea Industrial Design Awards. He has a strong interest in designing products for many different cultures and people, and in communication through design. He is always striving to encompass a good East-West hybrid of design culture as a union between Asian and Western sensibilities.
